122: January 2025

It's a new year! The new year has already been A Lot! I'm happy to report that I'm done with edits on the second edition of Becoming Alien–next up, copy edits, which won't be for a few months at least. More to come when we get close to publication.

What I wrote:

Over at Seeing & Believing, I published a Top Ten list for 2024. I also wrote a review of The Brutalist, a movie that's been haunting me for a little while now.

What I talked about:

I popped back in to the Think Christian podcast to talk about the best music of 2024. (It's brat summer all year long, baby.)

I also guested on Eye of the Duck this month to talk about linguistics, adaptation, science fiction, and Denis Villeneuve's Arrival.
